1. ABOUT DAFTAR DEPT.

Daftar Dept. operates this online store and offers apparel and related products through this website. Our store is powered by Shopify, which provides the e-commerce platform used to offer our products and services online.

Throughout these terms, "Daftar Dept.", "we", "us" and "our" refer to Daftar Dept.

You may use our website for lawful personal shopping and other legitimate purposes.

3. YOUR ACCOUNT & INFORMATION

If you create an account or place an order, please provide information that is accurate, complete and current. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for activity conducted through your account where applicable. If you believe someone has accessed your account without permission, contact us promptly.

To place an order, you should be 18 or older. If you're under 18, please shop with the involvement of a parent or guardian.

4. PRODUCTS

We try to describe and display our products as accurately as reasonably possible. However, minor variations may occur.

Colours Product colours may appear slightly different depending on your screen, brightness settings, photography, lighting and device. A small screen-to-real-life colour variation does not automatically mean the product is defective or incorrect.

Placement & Appearance Minor variations may occur in print placement, positioning or appearance due to production processes. These variations should not materially change the overall product or design.

Sizing Please check the Size Chart on the relevant product page before ordering. Measurements may have small, reasonable manufacturing tolerances. If the size doesn't work for you, our Exchange & Return Policy explains the available options.

5. PRICES

All prices displayed on our website are in Indian Rupees (₹) unless stated otherwise. Applicable taxes, shipping charges or other charges will be displayed during checkout. We may change product prices from time to time. A price change after you've successfully placed an order does not ordinarily change the price already confirmed for that order.

6. PRICING & WEBSITE ERRORS

We try not to make mistakes. The Daftar occasionally has other plans. A product may occasionally be displayed with an incorrect price, discount, description or other information because of a technical or human error.

Where an obvious error occurs, we may contact you before fulfilment to explain the issue and give you the available options, including paying the correct price where appropriate or cancelling the affected order with a refund of the amount already paid. We will not use pricing errors to charge you more after an order has been properly accepted and fulfilled.

7. ORDERS

Placing an order does not necessarily mean it has been finally accepted for fulfilment. An order may be subject to payment confirmation, product availability, verification and other reasonable checks.

We may cancel or limit an order where reasonably necessary, including where:

• A product is unavailable
• Payment fails or cannot be verified
• Order information appears incorrect
• An obvious pricing or technical error occurred
• We reasonably suspect fraud or misuse
• We cannot deliver to the provided location

If we cancel an order after receiving payment, the amount paid for the cancelled product or order will be refunded.

8. PREPAID & PARTIAL COD ORDERS

We accept the payment options displayed during checkout. Daftar Dept. may offer prepaid payment methods and Partial Cash on Delivery (COD). Where Partial COD is available, 40% of the order value is paid online in advance and the remaining 60% is paid at delivery.

The 40% advance is part of the total order payment and is not an additional COD fee. Detailed delivery and RTO rules are explained in our Shipping Policy.

9. SHIPPING & DELIVERY

Shipping timelines, delivery attempts, Partial COD, Return to Origin (RTO), courier issues, damaged or tampered packages and other delivery matters are covered in our Shipping Policy. Delivery dates shown are estimates, not guarantees, unless specifically stated otherwise.

10. EXCHANGES, RETURNS & REFUNDS

Our rules on the following are explained in our Exchange & Return Policy:

• Voluntary returns
• Return and exchange fees
• Wrong or damaged products
• Product inspection
• Refunds
• Multiple or partial returns
• Bulk returns and exchanges
• Promotional and bundle refunds

11. PROMOTIONS & DISCOUNTS

From time to time, we may offer:

• Multi-buy offers

• Limited-time promotions
• Other promotional benefits

Promotions may have their own eligibility requirements, validity periods and conditions.

Unless specifically stated otherwise:

• Promotions cannot be exchanged for cash
• Discount codes cannot be applied retrospectively
• Multiple offers may not be combinable
• Promotional benefits may end when the stated promotion ends
• Returning part of a promotional order may affect the discount or benefit originally received

12. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

The content associated with Daftar Dept., including our original:

• Brand name and branding
• Logos
• Artwork
• Illustrations
• T-shirt designs
• Graphics
• Copy and written content
• Photography
• Videos
• Website design elements

may be protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

You may not copy, reproduce, commercially use, modify, distribute or sell our protected content without permission, except where permitted by law. Buying a Daftar Dept. product means you own the product you purchased. It does not mean you purchased the rights to reproduce the artwork printed on it. The T-shirt is yours. The design isn't suddenly your new startup.

13. REVIEWS & CONTENT YOU SEND US

If you voluntarily submit a review, photograph, feedback or other content to Daftar Dept., you confirm that you have the right to share that content. We will not assume that every private customer support photograph or WhatsApp message can automatically be used in advertising. If we want to use identifiable customer content for marketing, we'll ask for your permission separately.

14. FRAUD & MISUSE

We may investigate, reject or restrict transactions where we reasonably suspect fraud or deliberate misuse.

Examples include:

• Returning a different product from the one purchased
• Swapping products during a return
• False claims about missing or damaged products
• Repeated deliberate COD refusals
• Abuse of promotional offers
• Unauthorised payment activity

We may ask for reasonable information needed to investigate suspicious activity. A genuine return, exchange, delivery complaint or product issue will never be treated as misuse just because a customer raises it.

15. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES

Some parts of your shopping experience may involve third-party providers, such as:

• Courier and logistics companies
• Analytics or technology providers

These providers operate under their own terms and privacy practices. Daftar Dept. is not responsible for independent third-party services outside our reasonable control, but we'll help with order-related issues where we can.

17. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to an order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of the website or our products.

This does not limit your rights under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 or any other rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

18. CHANGES TO THESE TERMS

We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time as our products, website or operations change. The latest version will always be published on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Changes apply going forward and will not be used to rewrite the agreed terms of a completed transaction.

19. GOVERNING LAW & DISPUTES

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of India. If you have a problem with an order, please contact us first so we can try to sort it out directly. Subject to your rights under consumer protection law, disputes will fall under the jurisdiction of the courts in New Delhi.

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions is intended to exclude obligations that cannot lawfully be excluded.
